UnityMK has launched Building Hope and Home, our fundraising appeal to raise the final £50,000 needed to complete this phase of our new Support Centre in Wolverton and enable us to move in.
And, for a limited time, donations could be doubled with Aviva match funding, helping your support go even further.
As Milton Keynes’ only walk-in homelessness support service, we provide a vital route to help for people who are homeless or at risk of losing their home. Around 200 people come through our doors each week, accessing practical and emotional support when they need it.
Thanks to the incredible support of trusts and foundations, Government, corporate and community partners, local businesses and our own reserves, we have already secured £450,000 – 90% of the £500,000 needed.
Now we need the Milton Keynes community to help us raise the final £50,000 and get through the door.
Why we need to move
We’ve been working towards our new Support Centre for some time, but completing it and making the move has become increasingly urgent. Our current home at the Old Bus Station is due to be redeveloped, the cost of remaining there has risen significantly, and we need to relocate our day services by spring 2027.
Our new Support Centre will provide a safe, welcoming home for UnityMK’s vital homelessness services, with showers, laundry facilities, a kitchen and dining area, welfare and counselling rooms, healthcare facilities and spaces for specialist partners.
Most importantly, it will mean people who are homeless or at risk of losing their home can access practical, joined-up help, all in one place.
Your donation could be doubled
For a limited time, donations to our campaign could be doubled with Aviva match funding.
Please help us complete our new home and protect the future of Milton Keynes’ only walk-in homelessness support service.
Donate today and help us get through the door.
Together we can end homelessness in our city.
